Brand Fetch

Enter a domain and we read the home page to collect the company name, description, logo and favicon candidates and colour palette. Sources: JSON-LD Organization, og:image, apple-touch-icon, theme-color, CSS custom properties and the meta description. Colours are counted from the CSS and ranked by frequency, each with its contrast ratio on white and on black.

Built for the groundwork of a placeholder brand in proposals and mock-ups. To fine-tune a colour pair, hand it to the contrast checker (tools.first-ch.com, in-browser).

SERVER PROCESSING — what we send and what we keep

Sent: only the domain (URL) you type. Our server (Cloudflare Workers) fetches that home page as a public page, then the external stylesheets it declares (up to 4), the manifest and logo / icon images (up to 8, first 64KB only, to read format and size).

Stored: nothing. Extraction lives entirely inside one request and writes neither the domain nor the result to any database (no KV, no D1). It leaves memory when the request ends.

Returned: analysis results only — trimmed name and description strings, image URLs and dimensions, colours normalised to #rrggbb with their counts. We never re-serve the fetched HTML, CSS or image bytes. Preview images are loaded by your browser directly from the source site.

Note: public GET only; internal networks, localhost and private IPs are rejected. Logos and colours belong to their owners — check the company's brand guidelines before using them beyond placeholders in a proposal or mock-up.

Use it as an API

POST /brand-fetch/api/extract with JSON ({"url": "example.com"}) or a form body and you get the same result as JSON (images as URL and dimensions only).
